Sealed bids for Pool Bulkhead Replacement at Aquatics Facility of Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park, 679 Riverside Drive, New York, New York will be received by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP), via email at NYC.CapitalBidSubmissions@parks.ny.gov. Electronically submitted bids must only be attached in PDF format– hyperlinks will not be accepted. Note: There is a 20MB limit when submitting attachments via email. A general description of the primary work elements is listed below for reference. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all drawing and specifications to obtain a complete understanding of the entire scope of work. The contract includes all work indicated in the contract documents including but not limited to:

The Contractor shall provide all equipment and services necessary for selective demolition, removal and recycling of the existing two indoor Competition pool’s bulkheads and shall furnish and install two new bulkheads of similar size and function.

Work shall include all necessary transportation and on / off-loading of the bulkheads as well as any necessary temporary building access removal / reinstallation (i.e.: windows, doors, etc.). Provide all equipment and services required for erection and delivery onto the premises of the new bulkheads and miscellaneous apparatus furnished.

Remove equipment from premises when no longer required.
4. Provide all necessary permits.
5. Closeout documents including warranties.

PUBLIC BUILDING LAW § 8(6)
|
|
Pursuant to Public Building Law § 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,579,361 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2023). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.

PROJECT COMPLETION

The completion date for this project is 280 calendar days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller’s Office.
