SUNY – Downstate Health Sciences University (DHSU), hereinafter referred to as “SUNY DHSU”, hereby issues an Invitation for Bid (“IFB”) to solicit proposals from qualified/certified vendors (alternatively “Bidder”, “Offeror” and “Bidder”) for the provision of replacement of the Nurse Call System for SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (“SUNY-DMC”) at University Hospital at Downstate. (“UHD”).

1. Sealed proposals for the IFB are due Friday, May 3, 2024 @ 3:00 pm. Submit bids to the office of Mr. Frantz Poyau, Purchase Associate, Contracts and Procurement, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, 450 Clarkson Avenue, Box 113, Brooklyn, New York 11203. The proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 811 New York Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203, Conference Room # 2-11.

We invite vendors to submit proposals in accordance with the requirements, terms and conditions of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the replacement and installation services. The IFB sets forth the requirements for all services and solicits a detailed response from vendors to include pricing and service descriptions in a specified format.

The specific requirements applicable hereto are more fully described in the Vendor Requirements and Technical Specifications Grid Sections set forth in Sections “IV”, “V” and Exhibit “B” of the IFB.

The IFB further outlines the terms and conditions, and all applicable information for submitting a bid. Bidders are advised to pay strict attention to the bid submission date, time and other requirements set forth therein to prevent disqualification from consideration.

1. Qualifications of Bidders:

All prospective bidders are hereby notified that, upon request of the University, they must be able to prove to the satisfaction of the University that they have the skill and experience, as well as the necessary facilities, ample financial resources, organization and general reliability to do the work to be performed under the provisions of the Contract in a satisfactory manner and within the time period specified.
