Physical Science - Fume Hood Upgrades
Description:

The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number M09668 titled Physical Science - Fume Hood Upgrades until 2:00 p.m. local time on May I, 2024 the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by January 21, 2025. All work is to be completed during the summer academic break: May 20, 2024, through August 16, 2024, or during the winter academic break: December 19, 2024, through January 21, 2025.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations.

Plans will be available on April 8, 2024 from Constructive Copy (the Printer), located at 3 Northway Lane N., Latham, New York, 12110 in either electronic or paper format. Bidders will be able to access the project online at the Printer's web site: https://constructivecopy.com/. To receive access the website, bidders must email production@constructivecopy.com to request login information.

Bidders who register as a planholder through the Printer may acquire the bidding and contract documents using the following options:

  1. For a fee of ten dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive an electronic download of the bidding and contract documents. At the bidder's expense, purchase a printed copy or copies of the bid set.
  2. For a fee of ten dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the bidding and contract documents. At the bidder's expense, purchase a printed copy or copies of the bid set.
  3. For a fee of $49, interested firms may request and receive a printed copy of the complete set. An electronic download or copy on CD will not be provided.
  4. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to: Cindy Lehr at Cindy.Lehr@oneonta.edu and to Scott Keating at skeating@hesnor.com. The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is 4/19/24.

A project walk through will be held on Tuesday, 4/16/24 at 10:00 am. Please meet at 322 West Street field office trailer.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
