Bugbee Hall Crawlspace Asbestos Encapsulation
Description:

The scope of work involves the asbestos abatement / encapsulation and non-asbestos shotcrete installation in the Bugbee Hall Crawlspaces. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Asbestos:
o Clean up of the minor-project asbestos pipe insulation incidental disturbance episode and removal of approximately 3 linear feet of damaged pipe insulation identified in the North Crawlspace.
o Lagging of all currently exposed asbestos pipe insulation present on all Crawlspace areas.
o Relocation of all non-asbestos brick/masonry/stone floor debris and debris piles present throughout the North and South Crawlspace areas.
o Removal of all non-asbestos wood, metal and other non-masonry debris throughout the overall Crawlspace area.
o Enclosure of all Crawlspace Area Dirt Floors consisting of 2 layers of 6-mil poly.

• Non-Asbestos: The installation of Shotcrete in the unfinished crawlspace areas at a thickness no less than 3 inches.
