HERKIMER COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

PAVING OF REJUVENATED SURFACES ON VARIOUS ROADS

IN VARIOUS TOWNS, HERKIMER COUNTY, NY

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Herkimer, New York, until 10:00 A.M., at the Prevailing time on February 2, 2023 at the Office of the Department of Highways 313 Third Avenue, Herkimer New York, for the Paving of Rejuvenated Surfaces on Various County Roads, situated in various Towns of Herkimer County, New York. All bids received pursuant to this notice will be publicly opened and read aloud at the office of the Department of Highways at 10:00 A.M. on February 2, 2023.

Sealed bids must be plainly marked with:

“Sealed Bid – Paving of Rejuvenated Surfaces on Various County Roads”

Copies of the Contract Documents are on file and may be examined at the Office of the Department of Highways, 313 Third Avenue, Herkimer, New York. These documents on compact disc or electronic file may be obtained only at the department upon deposit of check/money order made payable to County of Herkimer or by credit card via phone/online/in person (credit card fees apply) in the amount of ($50.00). No refund will be made.

NOTE: Documents on CD or Flash Drive can be mailed at the Contractor’s Expense.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid.

The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance, payment, and guarantee bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid.

This project is subject to the provision of Chapter 605, Laws of the State of New York of 1959, Section 103-A of The General Municipal Law and subsequent amendments.

THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
