Sealed bids for SUCF Project No. 161044_- REPLACE GREENHOUSE ELECTRIC PANELBOARDS AND LIGHTING - GUTERMAN LAB - TOWER ROAD will be received by Cornell University at 121 Humphreys Service Building, Ithaca, New York 14853, until 2:00PM on November 14, 2023, and then opened publicly in Room 133 Humphreys Service Building, and via Zoom at: https://cornell.zoom.us/j/92768174842?pwd=ZzlZYUdUYUNGdEFybWFRcFh3UkRGQT09&from=addon

The scope of work will include:

1. Replace outdated Federal Pacific and Westinghouse panelboards in Greenhouses 1045G, 1060A, 1060F, 1068B, 1134A, and 1135A. All panels are to be replaced-in-kind at the existing location.

2. Contractor to install new Arc Flash labels on all panels shown on the Drawings.

3. Replace the HID lighting with LED lighting in Greenhouse 1068B Wings 154, 155, and 156. Work includes removal of existing Greenhouse lighting control wiring in each wing and installation of new Argus Lighting Controls consistent with recent upgrades in the building.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid. The Contract Documents remain the property of the Owner. Fees are waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. Certification status will be verified in the New York State Contract System.
