The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) is seeking a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform reclamation activities at The Gifford Road Pit reclamation project, located in the City of Rome. The Gifford Road Pit is a sand and gravel mine consisting of a 56.2-acre life of mine with approximately 22 acres requiring reclamation work.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this IFB includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and an Offerer during the procurement process. Bidders shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
