Description: SUCF# 161059 Replace Cooler and Freezers – Stocking Hall East Request for Qualifications Cornell University is seeking proposals from consultants to provide complete design, bid administration and construction administration services for new programming needs, repair/replacement of the Stocking Hall East coolers, freezers and environmental chambers. Project Description Stocking Hall East has eleven food grade units that are approximately thirty years old. Due to the high maintenance cost and frequent disruption to the department by condensation, mold remediation, water leaks, and structural damage caused by the condition of the coolers, freezers, and growth chambers, repairs and replacements need to be initiated. The conditions and prioritization of repair and replacement options have been documented in a detailed study. Stocking Hall, these replacements will need to include a review of the overall occupant programmatic needs for the most efficient reconfiguration of coolers, freezers, and growth chambers include new programming needs, along with required maintenance repairs that include structural deck refurbishments and total replacement of certain coolers, freezers, and growth chambers in the existing space including their associated controls and refrigeration systems. Scope of Services The Design services shall include the items below, but not be limited to: Design service for replacement/repair of existing Stocking Hall Walk-In Coolers/Freezers, Environmental Chambers (11) rooms 172, 176A, 176B, 176C, 176D, 176E, 176F, 176G, 176H, 187, 187A.

This subconsultant staffing list shall include the percent of work to be completed by each subconsultant and indicate whether each subconsultant is a MBE, WBE, or SDVOB.
