SUNY Upstate University Hospital intends to purchase Unium Drill System and related products manufactured by Depuy Synthes under its discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(A), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the Depuy Synthes Unium Drill and Related Products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized to sell Depuy Synthes Unium Drill and related ptroducts.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful contractor shall be required to complete and submit documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and valid/current NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability Forms.
