Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Village Clerk, Village of Tupper Lake, 53 Park Street, PO Box 1290, Tupper Lake, New York 12986, Telephone (518) 359-3341 until 3:00 pm on April 13, 2023, for the purpose of furnishing labor and equipment for staining of the Municipal Park Grandstand on Demars Blvd. in the Village of Tupper Lake:

“Staining of Village of Tupper Lake Municipal Park Grandstand - Labor Only”

• The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any information in and to reject any and all bids submitted and to re-advertise it, if in their judgment, such course will be to the best interest of said Village.

• All bids must be accompanied by a non-collusive bidding affidavit required by Section 103 and 103-D of the General Municipal Law of the state of New York.

• Bids should not include sales and compensatory use taxes on materials purchased.

• All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Staining of Village of Tupper Lake Municipal Park Grandstand - Labor Only.”

• This legal notice, specifications, and non-collusive affidavit is available by request or may be picked up at the Village Clerk’s office, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

• The project is funded with a grant provided by the NYS Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund with 15% Minority and 15% Woman Owned Business Enterprise goals. Bidders shall put forth a Good Faith Effort in the utilization of MWBE Enterprises to undertake this project.

Specifications

The Village of Tupper Lake is seeking bidders for the purpose of furnishing labor and equipment for staining of the Municipal Park Grandstand, with specifications as follows:

• Village of Tupper Lake will provide all stain required.
• Bid must include labor and equipment for work to be completed.
• Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll required.
• OSHA approved work practices required.
• Proof of Worker's Compensation and Disability Insurance required.
• Certificate of Liability and listing the Village of Tupper Lake and Department of State as additionally insured required.
• Bidder will provide all site clean-up.
