Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH) is seeking a vendor to provide Preventative Maintenance (PM) to the CereTom® Elite mobile CT Scan Machines in the Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU).

Mandatory Minimum Requirements:

• Any vendor interested in this bid must be available to provide service 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

• Vendor must be able to provide software updates and patches.

• Service Visit to include: check x-ray energy output, verify voltage output, check optical alignment, check multi-power supply, clean instrument, verify patient alignment system, verify full operation of your system and replace any defective or damaged parts. Preventative Maintenance will be performed four times per year as outlined in the Service Manual. During Preventative Maintenance visits, special mobile system-related checks will be performed including, but not limited to, centipede translation maintenance, re-torqueing of critical fasteners, inspection of cabling for damage or connector loosening due to vibration, and detailed image quality checks.

• Vendors must provide proof of Certification/ Authorization from Neurologica for parts, software, and service.

• Parts, labor, travel and software are to be included.

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing - Hospital’s Vendor Credentialing System: Contractor acknowledges that Hospital utilizes a healthcare vendor credentialing services system to ensure that Contractor’s representatives entering Hospital premises or providing services impacting patient care have reviewed Hospital policies, have the appropriate training and/or certification and have the proper immunization required to access patient care areas. Contractor acknowledges that the services provided under this Agreement require registration of Hospital’s credentialing system. Contractor shall be required, at its sole cost and expense, to register with Hospital’s current credentialing system and ensure its representatives provide all required information.
