The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) BATC (Bureau of Addiction Treatment Centers) intends to contract with a vendor, pursuant to its discretionary authority under State Finance Law §163(6), permitting discretionary purchases up to $500,000 to provide medical credentialing for up to 75 licensed providers within the OASAS state-operated Addiction Treatment Centers (ATCs).

Medical credentialing verifies that nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians are trained properly and certified and have the required professional experience to provide healthcare services to patients. It's a crucial aspect of maintaining high standards of safety in the medical profession.

When OASAS staff are initially hired OASAS validates that they are fully credentialed, this solicitation is for staff to retain their medical credentialing, confirming licensures, and board certifications post hiring.

This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State businesses certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law.
