Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The New York City Transit Authority (the "Authority" or “NYCT”), a public benefit corporation organized under the Public Authorities Law of the State of New York, which for purposes hereof shall be deemed to include the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority and the Staten Island Rapid Transit Operating Authority and New York City Transit Authority, is requesting Proposals from vendors to furnish and deliver certain Battery-Electric Buses ("BEB") as follows: (i) three-hundred and eighty (380) Low-Floor Forty-Foot BEBs, twenty-five (25) of which are being procured on behalf of the MTA Bus Company and the remainder for NYCT; and (ii) ninety (90) Low-Floor Sixty-Foot BEBs for NYCT, in accordance with the B40706 Contract Documents. Proposers are permitted to submit Proposals for: (a) only the 40-ft BEBs; (b) only the 60-ft BEBs; or (c) both (a) and (b). The resulting Contract(s) will utilize federal funds and will meet all federal requirements.
