RFB-2487 INCIDENTAL CONSTRUCTION (2023-2024)
Description:

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR, EQUIPMENT ANDMATERIALS: a) General: Owner recognizes need for labor and equipment on an as-needed basis to complete the work provided in these specifications. i. Personal Tools and Equipment: All personal tools including small power tools and consumable materials necessary to satisfactorily perform the work shall be provided by the Contractor. ii. Materials: Except as provided on a Project Specific basis, Owner shall furnish only materials permanently incorporated into the project. Contractor may be required to provide materials on an at cost basis plus a markup, as required. Contractor shall be RFB-2487 Incidental Construction Page 18 of 36 01/19/2023 responsible for coordinating delivery of all necessary materials. b) Equipment: Contractor shall furnish requested equipment and provide experienced operators to complete the assigned work. i. Throughout the course of the year emergency situations, workload or equipment failures may necessitate acquiring equipment on an “as-needed” basis. Equipment furnished shall include operators, support personnel, fuel, maintenance, and repairs except where specifically stated otherwise. ii. Equipment used shall be modern, in good repair, owned/leased and operated by the Contractor’s personnel. Equipment shall be readily available for use on the proposed work. iii. All equipment shall comply with NYSDOT requirements for equipment. All equipment shall be properly licensed, rigged and marked to meet all requirements of applicable laws and regulations of NYSDOT. iv. Submit with the bid a descriptive list of identified equipment for use with this contract, including type of equipment, manufacturer, capacity, ownership, hours, and condition. v. The following list is considered the minimum equipment list the Contractor shall provide in progression of the work tasks assigned. Contractor shall submit with his bid a list of identified equipment for use with this contract. 3.1a Tractor Backhoe (comparable to JD310 or Case 580) 3.1b Skid Steer (comparable to Bobcat 185) 3.1c Dump Truck – Six (6) Wheel 3.1d Dump Truck – Ten (10) Wheel
