Fort Schuyler Management Corporation (FSMC) is seeking a firm to provide information on availability of a used Heat Treat Furnace. FSMC prefers the used Heat Treat Furnace meets the specifications for the machine below.

Heat Treat Furnace:

Mandatory Specifications:

• Machine must be NRTL Certified

Preferred Specifications Include:

• Furnace must accommodate for stress relief operation in accordance with the following specifications: AMS2801 and AMS-H-81200
• Inside envelope shall be at least 75L x 48W x 26H inches (1905L x 1219W x 660H mm)
• The furnace must have forced convection to improve temperature uniformity of cooldown rate. Temperature uniformity and control as per applicable standards
• Titanium raw material and finished goods to be stress relieved per the above specifications and specifically:
  • Stress Relief: Soak at 1350°F ± 25F for 25-240 minutes, capable of adjustable cooldown rate at 225°F/hr to 842°F, Air Cool from 842°F (450oC) to Room Temperature
• Target: Controlled cooling rate in the range of up to 270 F(150oC/hr)
• Preferred controls architecture. (Discrete controls, PLC’s, etc.) Must be able to plot, archive and export ramp up, ramp down and soak periods digitally
• Utility requirements – Customer to provide 480VAC 3 phase connection at the amperage vendor specifies
• Any special venting or exhaust requirements must be included. All other utility requirements by the vendor shall be called out in the RFI package
