The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is dedicated
to protecting lives, property, and the environment from the risks associated with
dams. DEC is pleased to announce the High Hazard Dam Rehabilitation (HHDR)
Grant program. Starting October 19, 2022, DEC will accept applications to provide
assistance for technical, planning, design, and other pre-construction activities
related to the repair, replacement, reconstruction, or removal activities associated
with rehabilitation of an eligible high hazard potential dam.

Applications must be submitted through the New York State Grants Gateway
(https://grantsgateway.ny .gov). Paper applications will NOT be accepted. Applicants
are strongly encouraged to submit applications prior to the application deadline.
