Description:

The project site consists of two contiguous vacant and abandoned parcels owned by WCBC
North, LLC (WCBC North) and located at 58 Church Street in the Village of Arcade.

Investigations of the site have documented the presence of (1) asbestos-containing material (ACM) in demolition debris and the remaining structures, and (2) fill, soil and groundwater that has been impacted by organic and inorganic contaminants at levels that exceed applicable
regulatory thresholds. Friable ACM was confirmed in the demolition debris and in the
remaining structures. WCBC North was awarded a United States Environmental
Protection Agency (USEPA) Brownfield Cleanup Grant for the removal of asbestos-containing demolition debris and the demolition and removal of the remaining structures.

All work performed must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and other professional practices and standards as necessitated by project conditions and job requirements. Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates will apply.

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and
be able to obtain insurance required for the work.
