The intent of this project is to make various improvements to the existing ballfields at the Martha Avenue Complex. These improvements include but are not limited to new synthetic turf and clay infields, topsoil and seeding outfield areas, Asphalt walking paths, concrete pads, Shade shelter, and existing fence repairs. The time of completion will start when construction commences.

This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLRFP1985 awarded to the Town of Brookhaven by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

This project is being funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant monies and
as such is subject to the standards of the granting agency such as M/WBE. See Appendix A for complete compliance regulations.

All prospective bidders MUST sign page four (4) of the ARPA packet acknowledging that they will register with SAM upon receiving an award for this bid.

The Town of Brookhaven has established an overall 30% goal for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation (15% MBE and 15% WBE) for this project. The Contractor shall make, and document, all good faith efforts made to achieve the MWBE Goal.
