Description of goods to services to be bid:

Through RFP 5574 NYSERDA is seeking one or more consultants to support a joint effort by NYSERDA and the NYS Department of Public Service (DPS) with four distinct focus areas. Work will consist of developing market analysis and forecasts surrounding medium- and heavy-duty vehicle electrification and associated charging infrastructure, conducting a benefit-cost analysis of an anticipated proposed set of utility programs, and developing a methodology and process for future modeling efforts underpinning proactive utility investments in electric grid upgrades to support transportation electrification. Proposers may propose to one or more categories to complete one, two, three or four elements. Proposals to each category should be separate proposals and will be evaluated against other proposals for that category.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

Companies will be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity if they are able to demonstrate the necessary skills, expertise and experience for one or more of the following support areas: 1) Medium- and Heavy-Duty (MHD) Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Market Overview, 2) MHD ZEV Adoption and Charging Scenarios, 3) MHD Make-Ready Benefit-Cost Analysis, and 4) Proactive Planning Support.
