Stony Brook University intends to make an awards under our discretionary authority, pursuant to State Finance Law §163(3)(vi), for the above noted commodity which authorizes the purchase of commodities from Group Purchasing Organizations ( GPOs ) or comparable entities in lieu of using a NYS centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. A sealed bid will not be held.
