Upgrade Elevator for ADA – Sherman Hall
Description:

The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091098 titled Upgrade Elevator for ADA – Sherman Hall until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 17, 2024, the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by May 2, 2025.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be obtained from Plan & Print Systems, Inc., 6160 Eastern Ave, Syracuse, NY 13211 (315-437-5111). In order for your bid to be accepted, you must have purchased the bid documents from Plan & Print Systems, Inc.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check of $49.00 for printed copies or $20.00 for electronic copies, made payable to Plan & Print Systems is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to: Jared Shue at jared.shue@oneonta.edu and to Rylie Podger at rpodger@archres.com. The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is April 9, 2024, by 2:00pm.

A project walk through will be held on April 2, 2024, at 2 pm. Please meet at construction trailer at 322 West Street, Oneonta.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
