The City of Auburn, NY (hereinafter referred to as “the City”) is seeking qualifications from experienced and qualified firms to provide Insurance Brokerage and Risk Management Services as detailed in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), dated March 22, 2024.

RFQ Documents must be downloaded from the City of Auburn website at https://www.auburnny.gov/bids . Prospective respondents must register with the website as a plan holder. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a proposal. All official notifications, addenda, and other documents will be offered only through the website. Owner will not be responsible for RFQ Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City of Auburn website. Proposers shall review and acknowledge each addenda, if any, within their proposal.

The purpose of the RFQ is to review and select an Insurance Agency or Brokerage Firm to prepare and provide an Insurance and Risk Management program as a potential alternative to NYMIR for the upcoming renewal. At the conclusion of this RFQ, the City will select one Insurance Agency or Brokerage Firm who will be responsible for solicitation, negotiating and preparation of an Insurance and Risk Management Programs to compare to our NYMIR renewal proposal.

Proposals shall be received by the City no later than 2:00 PM EDT, April 5, 2024.

Proposals should be prepared in the format set forth in section 3 of the RFQ. Non-responsive or incomplete proposal will be removed from consideration. Any proposal received after this date and time will be rejected.
