Description: Bids for the supply of equipment for the Town of Inlet Emergency Communications Project Phase 1 located in the Town of Inlet, Hamilton County, New York, will be received until 1 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the office of the Town of Inlet, Town Hall Clerk’s Office, 160 State Route 28, Inlet New York 13360, telephone (315) 357-5771. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud thereafter. The project includes the supply of equipment as specified in the Contract Documents. Installation of the equipment will be performed by others under a separate contract as described in the Contract Documents. Two prime contracts are part of this work, as follows:
Contract 1 - Equipment Shelter
Plans, Specifications, Proposal Forms and submittal requirements may be reviewed or are available at the Syracuse office of C&S Engineers, Inc. 499 Col. Eileen Collins Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13212 by contacting Rita Fendick at (315) 455-2000, rfendick@cscos.com . All prospective bidders are requested to register with Rita Fendick at C&S Engineers, Inc. to ensure receipt of any addenda. It is the Bidder's sole responsibility to ensure receipt of all addenda. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the words “Town of Inlet, Emergency Communications Project, Contract Number and the Contractor’s name and address plainly written on the outside. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Bidders are not to include in their Bid, sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of counties or cities on materials, equipment, and supplies to be incorporated into the Project. The successful Contractor will be required to execute the Contract and comply, in all respect, with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. All of the forms listed below must be completed by the bidder, signed where noted, and submitted to the County as a part of this bid. These include the following: 1. Itemized Bid Proposal 2. Bid Bond 3. Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate 4. Contractors’ Election Law Statement 5. Contractors’ Gift Law Statement 6. Iranian Energy Divestment Certification 7. Federal “W-9” Form 8. Required Bidder’s Checklist The Town of Inlet has a goal to achieve the following MWBE participation in this project: 15% Minority Owned Business, and 15% Women Owned Business Contractors shall submit as part of their BID a preliminary MWBE Utilization Plan. The low bidder, upon notice, may be required within 24 hours of being notified, to submit its most recent audited financial statement. Such statement shall be kept confidential consistent with the provisions of the Public Officers Law. The Town of Inlet reserves the right to reject any and all Bids offered.
