Sealed bids for the AVGAS Fuel System Improvements will be received at the offices of Passero Associates until 2:00 PM., local time, Thursday, March 21, 2024 and there, at said office (242 W. Main St., Rochester, NY 14614), at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “AVGAS Fuel System Improvements”.

The base bid project generally consists of cleaning, painting the existing 20,000 gallon 2-compartment fuel tank and containment dike, replacing fuel system piping and valves, installing new dispensers, installing tank monitoring system, installing new remote fill spill containment boxes, fabricating and installing a new catwalk, and replacing the point of sale credit card processing unit. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. New York State MWBE participation goals are 10% for minority (MBE) and 15% for women (WBE).

A complete set of bid documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement, and Contract Drawings will be available on Monday, February 19, 2024 and may be obtained from www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab Passero Associates at no cost.

Copies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the offices of Passero Associates. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.

The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
