Description: SUNY FREDONIA is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) from consultant firms to complete a Feasibility Study for the historic Fenner House located on Central Avenue. In order to gain a clear understanding of the issues involved with revitalizing and maintaining the historic Fenner house for the benefit of Fredonia, a feasibility study is needed to provide adaptive reuse options or demolition option. Currently Fredonia is looking at the possibility of using the building for a new Mental Health program which will be the main focus for this study, but is open to exploring other potential uses. A RFQ Pre-Submission Meeting has been deemed necessary to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the scope of work. One meeting has been scheduled for: Thursday, March 7, 2024 @ 10:00 AM – Meet in Major Alice Conference Room (Room #321) located on the 3 rd floor of the Science Center building on the Fredonia campus. There will be no additional RFQ pre-submission meetings scheduled for this project; therefore, consultants must plan accordingly. Please note that attendance at an RFQ Pre-Submission Meeting has been deemed mandatory for all consultants interested in submitting a Qualifications package for this project. All consultants are advised that they must sign an "RFQ Meeting Sign-In Sheet" to verify that they have complied with this requirement. Failure to fulfill this requirement will disqualify the consultant’s RFQ submission. Interested consultants should submit in writing their intent to attend the scheduled RFQ Pre-Submission Meeting and to request the RFQ document. Please submit this information to the Facilities Planning Office via email to: Gretchen.Fronczak@fredonia.edu . Upon receipt of this information, consultants will receive a confirmation, which will include a campus map with the meeting location and directions to the campus.
