The intent of this job is to replace 6 light poles at the East Ballfield at Jones Beach Park and Replace Fence at East and West Ballfields.

• Remove the existing light poles and top portions or all footings as shown on the plans. Install new electrical box at removed pole locations. Reuse and extend existing wiring and conduits to new pole locations.

• Install new light pole on new concrete foundations or other acceptable means, to be designed by contractors.

• Perform other miscellaneous site work as required.

• Remove and replace all fences on both ballfields as shown on the plans.

Estimated Range: $914,500.00 - $1,237,300.00

There will be a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, September 05, 2023, 10:00AM at Jones Beach State Park East and West ballfields. Meet at Parking Field 2 comfort station between the ballfields and Owner’s Representative will escort prospective bidders to each ballfield.

All Requests For Information (RFIs) are due by: 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023

RFIs received after this due date and time will not be processed.

PUBLIC BUILDING LAW § 8(6)

Pursuant to Public Building Law § 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,579,361 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2023). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.
