The SUNY College of Optometry is seeking information and solution for Audio Visual equipment and installation to our Teaching and Learning Center. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to acquire information regarding Audio Visual equipment and installation that are available in the marketplace and develop an appropriate solicitation, if determined by College of Optometry is an appropriate step. THIS IS NOT A BID.

The objectives of this RFI are to:

1. develop a general understanding of vendor system features and capabilities across the marketplace.
2. obtain vendor feedback regarding Audio Visual equipment that fit the needs of the Teaching and Learning Center to assist development of a bid document if College of Optometry determines a bid is appropriate.
3. solicit vendors' perspective on best practices and interest for the right fit Audio Visual equipment in the Teaching and Learning Center.
4. identify future directions for the Audio Visual implementation and appropriate timelines.
5. identify any equipment requirements and associated service and support options for that equipment.

Scope of Request:

1. Flexible Space Design required
2. Adaptability and user-friendly interface and equipment
3. Control system, display, camera, microphones, ceiling speakers, assistive listening devices, and any other equipment / devices needed to list clearly with installation and support
4. Teaching and Learning Center has one large common place and two small conference room, which required Audio Visual equipment and implementation
