The scope of work involves the removal of (3) existing palm panels, along with their associated cleats, and the relocation of the current building directory as specified in the bid set. These elements will be replaced with new art glass panels and a new palm wood frame to seamlessly match the existing palm panels. All relevant details are provided in the bid set for your thorough review.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $15, made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University , is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

(Under SFL 143 the campus has the option to waive the deposit requirement where bid documents “are made available and obtained electronically or in any non-paper form by the agency”. If the campus wishes to waive the deposit for all bidders, delete the above paragraph).

No pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held. No individual walk throughs will be provided. Photographs of the site or a video walk though can be made available in an addendum when requested.
