Procurement Description:

SUNY Downstate (“SUNY-DHSU”) hereby seeks letters of interest in providing a total of three (3) ultrasound machines for the 6 ^th , 7 ^th and 8 ^th floors with medicine wards. The machines are a pivotal step towards fulfilling the crucial need for Point-Of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training in the Internal Medicine Service at SUNY-DHSU.

Interested vendors must be able to satisfy all requirements in the grid attached herein. Vendor must provide remote support, service parts, loans and replacements as needed, software updates and hospital-wide integration. All requirements are listed in the Excel document attached to this advertisement. Please note: The Ultrasounds must satisfy specific dimensions for the patient-care rooms as well as other equivalency standards noted below and in the attached grid .

Vendors who are interested and can attest to providing ALL items listed in the attached Excel document must submit, prior to the due date listed in the advertisement, a completed Excel grid (attached grid) which includes a Yes/No confirmation that service/item can be provided as well as any necessary description(s). Additionally, interested vendor must submit a letter of interest on your company letterhead, signed, with a description of your company/firm, as well as an overview of how you will be able to provide the listed items/services.

Any vendor who believes that they can provide the aforementioned products, or market equivalent, is invited to contact the Contracts Officer listed below to discuss this opportunity prior to the due date calendared herein. Equivalency and compatibility must be demonstrated by meeting the performance of, and being interchangeable with, Venue Go Ultrasounds, Venue Go Adapter, Phased Array probes, Linear Probes, Convex Probe and Venue Go Cart, including all related supplies, and accessories. A sealed bid will not be held. Reminder, potential vendors must be able to demonstrate and/or certify to ALL items listed.

DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PRICING.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j & k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful contractor shall be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms. In addition, the contractor will be required to complete and submit documents related to NYS Finance Law §139 j & k, and Public Officers Law.

This Solicitation of Interest is merely to determine if any vendors exist who have the capability and interest to provide every item listed on the attached Excel grid. SUNY-DHSU is not interested in partial service or individual items, only vendors who can provide every item/service listed and can attest to their ability to do so.
