The Office of Mental Health is seeking letters of interest regarding Chaplain services with the Greater Binghamton Health Center hospital. This solicitation is exploratory in nature and not an official request to engage with a new vendor at this time.

BACKGROUND:

The Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC) in Binghamton, NY provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services for adults and children who are mentally ill. The facility is looking for a Chaplain to provide a listening ear, emotional support, and spiritual support for the Adult Inpatient Services.

• Provide religious services for the Adult Inpatient Services.
• Provide spiritual counseling for both individuals and groups for the Adult Inpatient Services.
• Provide group sessions for the treatment malls.

Scheduling and hours are negotiable, projected to total approximately 20-25 hours per week. A yearlong placement is possible, with a two-year placement preferred.
