Description: Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to repair various chillers/cooling towers on the University campus and affiliated properties. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Hinman Dining Hall chiller will have the compressor replaced. To replace the compressor, the chiller will be lifted from its penthouse location to be repaired on the ground and then reinstalled afterwards. Replace University Union Chiller in its entirety. University Union chiller 2 needs refrigerant leaks repaired. C4 dining hall chiller 2 needs refrigerant leaks repaired. Gannett Cooling tower and chiller needs rehabilitation. A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 8, 2024 at 10AM in conference room C of the physical facilities building. Please reference Binghamton University's website for parking instructions Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if the bidding documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All other official notification, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner or Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
