Replace Emergency Generators
Description:

The work of this single bid project includes the replacement of emergency generators throughout the campus. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of six (6) natural gas emergency generators of various sizes from Fenton Hall, McEwen Hall, Thompson Hall, Mason Hall, Steel Hall Natatorium, and Carnahan Jackson Center. Removal of one (1) existing diesel fueled generator and above ground storage tank located outside of Steel Hall, and replacement with a natural gas generator with natural gas connection. For each generator in the scope, replace automatic transfer switches, provide remote tap boxes, and emergency e-stop buttons. The project also includes emergency circuits to provide emergency back-up power to existing digital signage in each building. Hazardous materials removal is included in the scope of work.

Plans will be available after June 20, 2023, through Rotolite-Elliott Corporation (585-385-1463 & www.rotoliteelliott.com ).

A project walk-through has been scheduled for June 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. meeting at the Facilities Planning Conference Room in Hendrix Hall.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
