Description: The Work of this Contract includes Flood Mitigation of Selected Bays and Stair Entrances in the Borough of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. The scope of the Work is summarized as follows: Furnish and install Mechanical Closure Devices (MCD) in ventilation bays. Furnish and install Stairwell Protection Devices (SPD) at subway stair entrances. Structural repairs of vent batteries at certain identified locations. Replacement of gratings and vent grate support frames. Relocation of certain identified utilities. This is an A + B Bidding Contract.
