Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to perform demolition of all interior spaces and exterior walls. Provide walls and finishes to all interior and exterior spaces and surfaces. Construct 26,530 sq. ft. addition on west side of building. Construct new Penthouse. Replace all MEP systems. Replace existing boilers which serve the Hinman Complex. Existing piping, ductwork, controls to be replaced as required to accommodate new boiler and pump configuration. Remove and relocate existing site utilities. Provide new site structures and utilities as required. Re-configure the access road which leads from Connector Road to the loading dock. Construct rooftop Terrance.
A pre bid meeting is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 18, 2019. All parties will meet at the Hinman Dining Hall. Please reference Binghamton University's website for parking instructions.
Complete and partial sets of the Bidding and Contract Documents may be obtained from the campus at the above examination location, or Binghamton University’s Physical Facilities Department, PO Box 6000, Binghamton, NY 13902-6000. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check in the amount of $49.00, made payable to Binghamton University is required. Failure to meet the deposit requirement to receive the bid documents from the appropriate source will deem the bidder’s submission as non-responsive. Deposits less than $50.00 are non-refundable.
