Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LICENSING AND LAND-USE The Nassau County Bridge Authority, New York (the “NCBA”), is a public benefit corporation created by the New York State Legislature in 1945 (L.1945, C. 893). The Nassau County Bridge Authority operates and maintains the Atlantic Beach Bridge. Title and interest in the bridge structure and adjacent real estate operated by the Bridge Authority are held in the name of the County of Nassau. In an effort to diversity the NCBA’s revenue stream, the Board of Commissioners has commenced exploration for long-term licensing and development of approximately six acres of vacant land. The NCBA issues this request for proposals (“RFP”) for a qualified firm (“Firm”) to analyze and submit proposals for land-use within the area as identified above and to develop a plan to facilitate economic development that will benefit the neighboring communities in a positive way. Scope of Proposal and Services The Firm shall work closely with staff for the NCBA as this is a focused engagement to explore the development of the property strategically, and to analyze any impacts associated with the development and within the guidelines of local land-use regulations.
