The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) is seeking the services of a Contractor qualified to complete the reclamation of 7.1 acres of the former Masonville Quarry - Ronald Opeil Flagstone Company LLC, bluestone quarry. The primary goal of this reclamation project is to reduce or eliminate any environmental and personal safety issues present at the mine and to reclaim the identified areas according to the approved reclamation objective. The reclamation activities include but are not limited to backfilling, grading, removal of refuse items and seeding.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this IFB includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and an Offerer during the procurement process. Offerers shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
