Intent

To specify in detail a used, currently advertised minimum 158 net HP. Wheeled Excavator equipped as indicated below for use by the Village of Southampton in its various needs. The machine shall weigh no less than 39,352 lbs. Machine shall be no earlier than a 2014 model with under 4000 hours.

ENGINE

Shall be a product of the loader manufacture. No less than 6 cylinders and no less than 158 net horsepower. Shall have a gear driven water pump and shall be no less than 403 cubic inch displacement. Engine shall be turbo charged. Machine shall have standard 1 maintenance free battery 1000 cca. Alternator must have a capacity of at least 75 amperes.

POWERTRAIN

The machine shall have a maximum travel speed of no less than 23 mph. First forward and reverse shall be 5 mph. Second gear forward and reverse shall be 23 mph. Drawbar Pull shall be no less than 21,806 lbs.

WORK TOOLS L ATTACHMENTS

The machine shall be equipped with a front dozer blade and 2 rear outriggers. Machine shall be equipped with a 3611 Jaw Bucket. Shall have a two-piece boom and a minimum stick length of 81611• The counterweight shall be no less than 9,038 lbs. The machine shall be equipped with a hydraulic rotating demolition & sorting grapple that is a product of the excavator manufacturer.

HYDRAULICS

All hoses shall be a product of the loader manufacture and all high pressure hoses shall consist of 4 overlapping insulated spiral wires on all hoses and have O-ring face seals to assure a leak free system. All hoses and lines shall have identifying labels on them. Machine shall be able to reach maximum lift capacity at any engine speed (load sensing hydraulics)
