NOTICE is hereby given, that sealed bids for the Tupper Lake Municipal Park Scoreboard Foundation Project, complete, will be received until 15 June 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Village of Tupper Lake Offices, 53 Park Street, Tupper Lake, NY 12986, (518) 359-3341, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Village Clerk, and shall bear on the face thereof, the name and address of the bidder and the appropriate contract title “Tupper Lake Municipal Park Scoreboard Foundation Project.” An award date on or about 20 June 2023 is planned. All work, including all testing and final clean-up, shall be substantially complete by 22 July 2023, with final completion by 29 July 2023.

Refer to the Plans and the Specifications, and all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete required work for Tupper Lake Municipal Park Scoreboard Foundation, Tupper Lake, New York.

Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid to workers on the project. The Village of Tupper Lake isexempt from paying sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York, and its cities and counties, on all materials to be incorporated into the work.

Only Registered Plan Holders shall be allowed to submit a bid. (Phone requests will not be honored.) Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the contract documents from North Woods Engineering.

The project is funded with a grant provided by the NYS Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund with 15% Minority and 15% Woman Owned Business Enterprise goals. Bidders shall put forth a Good Faith Effort in the utilization of MWBE Enterprises to undertake this project.

Bid selection will be made to the lowest qualified, responsible Bidder. The Village of Tupper Lake reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality therein, and to select the Bid, the acceptance of which, in its judgement, will best assure the efficient performance of the Work.
