The Town of St. Armand is requesting sealed bids for the construction of a new facility located at the address above. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November, 09, 2022 and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Town of St Armand Town Hall.

Project Description: The project consists of ADA renovations and facility upgrades that include the installation of an ADA lift to provide access to the second level. Work shall also include but is not limited to modifications to an existing stair to accommodate lift, the construction and renovation of ADA toilet rooms, & other ancillary items as handrails, door hardware, signage & finishes. Project is funded by the Office of Community Renewal Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG).

Bid proposals submitted prior to the public bid opening by U.S. Mail, private carrier, or hand delivered are to be sent to the Town Hall at the address above in care of Davina Winemiller. Bid proposals submitted the day of the bid opening are to be delivered to the Town of St. Armand Town Hall at the address above in care of Davina Winemiller prior to 3:00 p.m. All bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope with the words "Town of St. Armand Town Hall ADA Improvements" clearly printed on the front.

A pre-bid conference for all bidders is scheduled for Wednesday, November 02, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Town of St. Armand Town Hall.

Project Documents are available in the form of a PDF from the office of AEDA, PC. Documents may also be examined at no expense at the office of Architectural & Engineering Design Associates, P.C. (“AEDA”), PC. 1246 State Route 3 Plattsburgh, New York 12901

Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of a sum no less than 5% of the Bid Amount. The successful (low) bidder will required to provide Payment & Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of their contract for this project. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 3100 - Available Project Information. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
