Rehabilitate Sinclair Hall
Description:

The work of this single bid project includes but is not limited to:

  1. Abatement and demolition of portion of the building exterior envelope including glaze aluminum systems, doors, masonry walls, and insulated panel systems.
  2. Abatement and demolition of interior building components.
  3. Removal and replacement of existing membrane roofing system.
  4. Exterior building envelope improvements including new aluminum framed curtain wall, storefront systems, insulated panels, and cladding systems.
  5. Gut renovations of building interior for modern academic building including modifications to the concrete structure, replacement of HAVC, electrical and plumbing systems and installation of a fire sprinkler system.
  6. Site improvements and utility upgrades.
  7. Steel-framed, 2-strory addition.

Plans will be available after December 6, 2023 through Dataflow, Inc. (518-463-2192 & https://www.godataflow.com/ ).

A project walk-through has been scheduled for December 19, 2032 at 11:00 a.m. Please review the IFB for the meeting location.

Special Notice to Potential Bidders: Please review the Bid and Post Bid Checklist on the Construction Opportunities page on the Fund’s website ( https://www.sucf.suny.edu/ ) for more information on bidder’s qualifications and other requirements.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
