Reporting to the Director of Social Work, the Chaplain is responsible for responding to the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff throughout the organization for eight (8) hours per week (four (4) days, two (2) hours per day). The Chaplain provides spiritual support to patients and their loved ones who are confronting mental illness, making difficult treatment decisions, feeling alienated or alone, or experiencing conflict, despair or feelings of hopelessness. The Chaplain establishes collaborative relationships with the interdisciplinary care team, other professionals and the community.
