Description of goods to services to be bid:

NYSERDA seeks proposals from knowledgeable and objective organizations or teams interested in conducting comprehensive, collaborative research to address environmental and fisheries issues related to offshore wind energy development (OSW). The PON addresses OSW research needs identified as high priority by scientists, fishermen, environmental organizations, New York State and federal regulators, and offshore wind developers.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

The successful proposers must have a project team that can demonstrate the necessary technical, operations, and administrative experience needed for successfully completing this project as well as the depth of personnel available to perform important tasks outlined in the PON. The proposers should be able to identify opportunities to optimize existing research efforts and data and adapt these as appropriate, shifting resources and activities to better accomplish stated goals.
