The NYSDEC Division of Air Resources, Bureau of Air Quality Surveillance (BAQS) is purchasing calibration equipment to augment the existing air monitoring network. BAQS maintains a network of air monitors throughout the state and reports the data to EPA and the public via the DEC website and the EPA AQS system. This monitoring is required be the USEPA via the Clean Air Act. Air quality instrumentation must be maintained and updated to guarantee that the data generated is valid and complete. This requires QA/QC of instruments in accordance with the NYSDEC Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) as approved by the EPA. This purchase is for calibration equipment used for required quality control and quality assurance.

(5 Units) Ozone Calibrator: TAPI T703 (or equivalent) AND (3 Units) Trace Level GPT Dilution Calibrator: TAPI T700U (or equivalent) are expected to be purchased.
