The State University of New York College College at Geneseo has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to contract with a vendor for the following direct mailing services. The College's Admissions department mails a variety of personalized letters and publications to prospective undergraduate students throughput the recruitment cycle. These bulk mailings are sent to thousands of prospective students at a time and typically contain a postcard or personalized letter with additional material. The vendor would be expected to be able to receive the data (names, addresses, etc.) and produce a printed envelop or addressed postcard. A personalized letter may need to be printed and placed in an envelope with other printed matter. A variety of pieces will need to be fulfilled on an ongoing basis. The vendor is also required to store inventory for these mailings, pick up materials periodically from the College, and deliver finished mailings to the Rochester post office using the College's bulk permit.
