The State University of New York at Cortland will receive sealed bids for project number 20210016 titled Neubig-Pashley and Broadway Intersection Improvements, until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 26, 2023 at the Facilities Planning, Design and Construction Office, Whitaker Hall, room 201, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project consists of creating more visible crosswalks, pedestrian signals, traffic light and tabletop intersection improvements. The estimated budget is $ $2,500,000.00.

Substantial completion on this Contract is to be completed by August 9, 2024.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $45.00, made payable to Plan and Print , is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable.

A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00AM. Please meet at SUNY Cortland, Whitaker Hall, Room 201, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
