The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of materials for construction of an elevated boardwalk. This boardwalk, to be in the Nelson Swamp Unique Area, is necessary for ongoing conservation efforts in the region and to provide public access while attempting to mitigate human impact on other pristine sections of the preserve.
