INVITATION FOR BID

The City of Hudson, Dept. of Public Works will receive bids for the removal of asbestos insulation and replacement with heat resistant pipe insulation, until 2:00 PM on January 3, 2024 at the Department of Public Works office at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications, as prepared by the Superintendent of Public Works, are on file at the office of the Department of Public Works, temporarily located at the City of Hudson Central Fire Station at 77 North 7 ^th Street Hudson, New York.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; and, that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

Where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the City of Hudson may award the Contract to either bidder. The City of Hudson may waive any formalities or reject any and all bids and re-advertise for new bids at its discretion.

No bid may be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of 45 days from the date of bid opening. BID PRICE SHALL REMAIN UNCHANGED FOR 45 DAYS FROM DATE OF BID OPENING.
