NOTICE TO BIDDERS

State University of New York at Oswego will receive electronic secured bids via the e-builder platform for Project No. 1129-11 Titled: Broadcast Integration Equipment Package and Installation for Hewitt Hall until Thursday January 4, 2024 at 2:00pm.

Proposals are to be submitted electronically via e-builder https://gateway.app.e-builder.net/app/bidders/landing?accountid=c1007a87-19e9-483f-98b2-599731ba4506&projectid=5e161580-c1d8-45f6-83b6-310112c8604e&bidpackageid=8d9d4d79-fe49-438f-9454-80f7cfe9d0b5 ) . Proposals will be opened and read aloud via a conference call, with the bid results to be posted online thereafter. The original bid package is to be mailed to SUNY Oswego, Purchasing Department, 402 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 500 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work: Broadcasting Equipment and Installation Package for specialized equipment and systems in the following spaces: 1. Large and Small Broadcast Studios, 2. Newsroom, 3. Control Room for both Large and Small Broadcast Studios, 4. Audio Control Room, 5. Playback/CCU Room, 6. Broadcast interface plates and associated wiring to Machine Room from: a. (5) Exterior boxes, b. Whitebox, c. (1) Large and (2) Small Project Studios, d. Offices and Engineering, e. Screening Room, f. Ballroom, g. Collaborative Core, 7. Audio production systems in the Audio Editing Teaching Lab, Foley and ADR rooms, 8. Podcast Studio and Associated Audio Room.

A non-mandatory Q&A Conference Call has been scheduled to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same. The Q&A has been scheduled for December 19, 2023 at 11:00AM. Those who wish to participate should send an email to Richard.merritt@oswego.edu.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may ONLY be obtained from Plant and Print Systems or e-builder. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents, deposits less than $50.00 are non?refundable Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $40.00 for Documents, made payable to Plan and Print Systems is required. Requestors are responsible for shipping charges. All plan holders who receive the Contract Documents from Plan and Print Systems will receive Addenda notification by e-mail.

In compliance with Section 139 of the State Finance Law, all questions pertaining to this solicitation during the restricted period shall be made formally through email to the designated staff. Designated staff for the solicitation is:

Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women?owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Campus MWBE Goals are 15% Minority and 15% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%.
