Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Contractor shall provide New York City Transit with (a) concrete breaking equipment, together with all ancillary equipment and (b) an operating engineer(s). Upon request by NYC Transit, the Contractor shall provide NYC Transit with “SB552” Demolition Drilling Equipment (or a NYC Transit approved equal) (“Units”) including all ancillary equipment and a generator of at least 60 KW to operate each Unit (collectively referred to as “Equipment”). The Contractor may be required to supply up to (6) Units with an operating engineer at one time. All Unit(s) furnished by the Contractor shall be in good operating order and shall be able to operate safely and reliably according to the manufacturer’s specifications. The Units shall be clean, with no broken controls or leaks, no frayed or damaged electrical items and no loose hardware, moving parts or attachments. The Contractor shall perform the Work on a “24/7” basis in eight (8) hour shifts, generally, 8AM to 4PM, 4PM to 12AM, 12AM to 8AM, 10PM to 6AM, 6AM to 2PM and 2PM to 10PM or during such hours as NYC Transit directs. NYC Transit shall, in its sole discretion, have the right to designate the hours for the Work as required by the Authority. The Contractor shall not entitled to any additional compensation for Work performed by the Contractor at hours NYC Transit directs. The Project Manager shall have the authority to identify the required hours and direct the Contractor accordingly
