Description: SUNY Upstate Medical University located in Syracuse, New York, an academic medical center, is seeking bids from responsible and responsive vendors to provide hazardous waste removal services. Successful bidder shall provide labor/supervision, equipment, materials and/or supplies necessary to perform services, including but not limited to lab packs, transportation, disposal, and manifesting. Removal of hazardous waste is to be completed at the following locations: University Hospital Downtown located at 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210 and Weiskotten Hall (WH) located at 766 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Both buildings share the same pickup location.
Minimum Bidder Qualifications:
A copy of the IFB is available at: www.upstate.edu/finance/publicbid/bid.php This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law Section 139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact this procurement is the individuals listed below. Contacting any other individuals at Upstate in connection with this advertisement may constitute a violation of the New York State Finance Law. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Vendors responding to this advertisement shall be required to complete and submit applicable documents related to vendor responsibility, NYS Finance Law Section 139 j&k, and New York State’s Tax Law Section 5-a.
